I provide remote support via an outside service called Techinline. This give me the ability to access your PC or network by taking control of your desktop. It’s very effective and saves you time and money – no site visit, no fancy configuration (a small piece of software may be installed via your browser).

How it works

- You click the blue dot below. A web page will open, and that web page will ask you to install a browser add on. You’ll install the add on.

Note: You need to have appropriate administrator rights for installing browser add-on components on the computer. If you do not have such rights or you would like to avoid installing the browser add-on for any particular reason, you can use the Stand-alone Client Application. It is a standalone program which does not require any installation and allows you to use the service.

- After the addon or client application is installed, you’ll get a little box with a number in it. You tell me (the technician on the phone with you) that number, and I’ll start a session with you. You’ll be asked to approve the session, and then we’ll be connected. At that point, I’ll take control of your screen and we’ll fix things.

Here is more information from Techinline about installing browser addons (opens in a new window).
